I find the last one to be impossible Rob, what about you?........

If any of us did our own poll and asked people to name the first Star Wars character that came to mind, the majority are going to be Darth Vader......

General Grievous was not a Jedi. How can he have a midi-chlorian count? Also, Anakin Skywalker was without a doubt the most powerful Jedi ever. The only problem was that his maturity level didn't develop as quickly as his abilities.

General Grievous was not a Jedi, but he knew some of the Jedi ways. So that gives him a count, does it not? Otherwise it wouldnt have taken OBI WAN so long to beat him.

And Anakin never had a chance to become the most powerful Jedi, although he could have been.

Grievous didn't know the ways of the Jedi. He recieved some light sabre lessons from Dooku and that's it. Midi-chlorians are organisms in the blood that are there from birth. They don't just appear. I suspect that list didn't originate from Lucas.

Also, I maintain that Anakin was the most powerful Jedi ever. Obi-Wan even stated that Anakin has become a far greater Jedi than he could ever have hoped to have been.

Yes...I am a Star Wars nerd.

You are right, the list is not from Lucas

Much like the famed "Kyber Krystal" that Sidious had been rumored to use in some storys, purists discount it since it never actually appears in a movie.

Is where I got that stuff from

Definitely a highlight. The light sabre is the coolest weapon in movie history, IMO.

Can't believe Ki-Adi-Mundi is not on that list of the most powerful Jedi.

Can't believe my fricking geekhlorian count that I would even make such a comment.

somebody needs to show some love for Maul, such an underused villain who had the best lightsabre fight in the whole series.

I seriously can't believe that Tusken Raiders and Jawas are not in the top 15. They are WAYYYY more popular than Jar-Jar Binks, who was universally panned as a needless racial stereotype of a "rasta man" by ALL true Star Wars fans.

Phaedrus

He is on there, but ranked much too low for a Jedi master.

Since we're on the subject, were all my fellow Star Wars geeks aware that two SW based TV shows are being developed?

". . .How is Jar Jar Binks so popular if everyone hates him? All my friends hate him because they think he is annoying. How is he the most popular character if no one likes Jar Jar?

George Lucas: I don’t like to cast dispersions on the fans because I know you mean well, but what I have found is that 99 % of the Jar Jar Binks haters are failures at life. In essence, these haters are taking out their frustrations at life on Jar Jar. I don’t mean to be cruel, but we need to examine the facts. Jar Jar Binks receives more than ten times the amount of mail at Lucasfilm than any other character. The most popular Star Wars collectibles are all Jar Jar related.

Now the failures at life who have no money, no women and no future will spend all day on the Internet talking about how they hate Jar Jar Binks. This is very sad. The Phantom Menace is one of the top five films of all time. Most of the success of the first prequel film is due to Jar Jar Binks. Just because your friends hate Jar Jar is irrelevant. If you would spend your time trying to be a winner at life instead of hating Jar Jar, you and your friends might actually accomplish something worthwhile in life. . ."
